March has been a month of celebration, connection and unforgettable experiences for all of us. As the season transitioned, we were fortunate to witness the beauty of tradition and festivity with the celebrations of Holi, Eid and Indian New Year on March 31st, celebrated across India. These joyful moments brought a sense of unity and togetherness, adding vibrant colors to the month.
We had the opportunity to host a series of one-on-one webinars for key partners from Ahmedabad and Mumbai, featuring Meliaโs luxury brands, KK Collection, Santani, Clinique La Prairie and Sensory Indulgences. These sessions were designed to offer our partners an in-depth look at the unique product offerings we have, providing them with an exclusive understanding of what sets us apart in the market.
Engaging directly with our partners allowed for meaningful discussions, where we could answer specific questions, offer tailored insights and showcase how our products align with their business goals. The feedback from these sessions has been overwhelmingly positive and weโre excited to see how these conversations will translate into valuable partnerships.
In addition to the webinars, our team traveled to key cities in India for face-to-face meetings with our travel agency partners. These critical meetings help drive growth by boosting visibility and reinforcing our presence in the market through direct client engagement. We also had the privilege of visiting 15 properties across Jumeirahโs Middle Eastern portfolio, where we met with other exceptional teams and built lasting relationships. A special highlight was being among the first to stay at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab before its official opening – an extraordinary experience that showcased the potential of this remarkable property.
Our participation in Luxury Tribe, Indiaโs premier luxury and experiential travel trade show, was another milestone this month. As Indiaโs only by-invitation-only event for luxury and experiential travel brands targeting the affluent Indian demographic, Luxury Tribe offered an exceptional platform for networking with industry leaders. We had the opportunity to engage with more than 80 luxury agents from across India and strengthen our visibility in the luxury travel market. The event was a perfect blend of insightful B2B sessions in the morning and a vibrant evening celebration.
One of the most special moments this month was the opportunity to welcome renowned filmmaker Karan Johar and his family to Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives. We were honored to host him in such a stunning location.
